Harrell "Autumn" Woody

Here the cherry block rim can be seen. I use 6 sections for each layer, and then I glue three layers together to form a deep ring--this one is 3 and 3/8". After I glue the layers together, I peg them with hardwood dowels. I'm using a Sosebee bridge and a GoldTone premounted skin head. A close inspection reveals two details about the skin head: I had to file notches in the head's hoop so that the brackets would fit over it, and a little five 'o clock shadow can be seen to the left of the bridge near the tension hoop.
