Harrell "Autumn" Woody

This is block rim banjo that I made. It has a 12" inch rim, and the cherry I used is over a hundred years old. The planks I cut parts for the rim from were originally part of a horse barn in upper New York state. The tone ring is made of bubinga and is shaped the same as a Mastertone flathead tone ring. I named the banjo after my daughter, Autumn, and decorated it with a fall theme of leaves. I used dark-colored woods--the aged cherry for the pot, and mahogany for the neck.
